Puerto del Rey Marina is a marina located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. With a capacity of 1,100 boats, it is one of the largest marinas in the Caribbean.
Completed in 1988, Puerto del Rey Marina operates with a capacity of approximately 700 slips fixed on concrete pillars and 450 dry covered berths for small boats up to three meters in height, with additional spaces along the quays and at anchorages for visiting boats.
Open all year round, the most popular period for pleasure boating is from October to April. The boats vary in size from 30 feet to 150 feet. The municipality of Fajardo, on the island of Puerto Rico, covers an area of 80 km² and has a population of 40,712 (as of December 31, 2006).
