Sailing itineraries

Assouan Herdiab Kom Ombo Maniha Beshir
Pick-up from your hotel in Aswan or Aswan Airport. We start our tour in Aswan with the great and... see+ magnificent ancient Temple of Philae. The Temple of Philae, located on the island of Agilkia, is one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Egypt. It was moved entirely from its original location to its current site on higher ground, saved from the rising waters of Lake Nasser following the construction of the Aswan High Dam, which was completed in 1977.
On our way back to our home Dahabeya, we have the opportunity to stop by Aswan Souq (market), practice our bargaining skills, visit the spice market, and have a chance to drink the famous sugarcane juice.
Transfer to embark the Dahabeya. Lunch on board, then we set sail on your voyage heading to Esna as we continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Listen to the sounds of the water buffalo as they wade in the shallow waters beside the banks of the Nile, the donkeys as they go about their daily business, and the various birdlife of the river.
Continue sailing towards Aswan, passing by Herdiab Island.
Tie up at Basheir Island or its surroundings for the overnight stay.

Beshir Gebel Silsileh Bassaw El Ramady Sarag Island Fawaza
Enjoy breakfast aboard the Dahabeya. We set off on a relaxing journey to the temple of Gebel... see+ el-Silsila, one of our less frequented destinations. After visiting the temple, we return to the boat for lunch on board and continue sailing until we reach the small island village of Bassaw.
This village, home to about 500 inhabitants, is a self-sufficient community that cultivates its own food, including mangoes, bananas, and dates, while also relying on fishing for their livelihood. Noticeably isolated from the surrounding areas, Bassaw seems frozen in time.
Upon arrival at the village, we will visit a local farmer’s property, where we will be warmly welcomed into their home. We will have the opportunity to ask any questions we might have, particularly about the education of girls living on the island. (There may also be a chance to bake our own local sun bread for dinner.)
We then continue sailing until we reach another island, either Sarag or Fawza, where we will enjoy dinner. The crew will present an Egyptian night of fun with folkloric entertainment.

After your tour, continue sailing until we reach Esna for the overnight stay.
