Edfou Fawaza Sarag Island El Hegz El Ramady Bassaw
Enjoy another leisurely breakfast on the river while sailing to Edfu, where your tour guide will... see+ accompany you on an excursion to visit the ancient Greco-Roman Temple of Horus, also known as the Edfu Temple. This is the best-preserved temple in Egypt, thanks to the fact that it became buried beneath the desert sand and remained hidden for about 2,000 years before being rediscovered and excavated.
After your tour, continue sailing, passing by some islands where you can watch the kids playing by the Nile, buffaloes, and donkeys walking by the river. Enjoy lunch and continue sailing until reaching the small island village of Bassaw. This 500-inhabitant community cultivates its own food, such as mangoes, bananas, dates, and relies on fishing for their livelihood. They are noticeably isolated from surrounding areas, and Bassaw seems frozen in time.
Visit Bassaw Village; upon arrival at the farmer's property, we will be welcomed into their home, where we will have the opportunity to ask any questions, especially regarding the education of girls living on the island. (There may also be a chance to bake our local sun bread for dinner.) Enjoy dinner on the island, where the crew will present an Egyptian night of fun with folkloric performances.

Upon arrival at Kom Ombo Temple, your guide will take you to see the remarkable Temple of Kom Ombo. This is one of the most unique and intriguing ancient temples because it was dedicated to two different gods: Sobek and Haeroris. To achieve this, the builders had to construct two of everything, resulting in a complex that is essentially two temples in one. Continue sailing towards Aswan.

Enjoy breakfast aboard the Dahabeya. Continue sailing until we reach Aswan.
We begin our tour in... see+ Aswan with a visit to the great and magnificent ancient Temple of Philae. Located on Agilkia Island, the Temple of Philae is one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Egypt. It was entirely relocated from its original site to its current, higher ground to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser after the construction of the Aswan High Dam, which was completed in 1977.
On our way back to our Dahabeya, we have the opportunity to stop by Aswan Souq (market), where we can practice our bargaining skills, visit the spice market, and enjoy a glass of the famous sugarcane juice.
There is also the possibility to visit a Nubian Village in Aswan, take a break with the Nubian people, and ride camels. Additionally, you may enjoy a boat ride around the islands of Aswan, including a visit to the Botanical Garden.
