Agropoli Lipari Stromboli
The Aeolian archipelago consists of seven volcanic islands, of which only Stromboli and Vulcano are... see+ still active volcanoes. The main island is Lipari, which offers travelers arriving by boat a beautiful view of its Acropolis dominated by the Cathedral. Its marina is very lively with shops, boutiques, and stalls... it is an island where life is good.
Nicknamed the "lighthouse of the Mediterranean," Stromboli is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, rising from the sea in a perfect cone of black lava. As the ship sails around the island, passengers gather on deck to watch the smoking summit and the famous Sciara del Fuoco, where incandescent ash sometimes cascades down the slope. The last major eruption was in 2019, and the volcano's regular activity creates a fascinating natural spectacle.
