The ship will set sail for Greece. The crew will invite you to the sun deck for an aperitif as you leave the port of Valletta, one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. You will enjoy a magnificent view of the city's historic fortifications as the ship heads toward Greece.

Morning: Included Excursion – The Archaeological Site of Olympia
This is where the world's most... see+ famous and prestigious sporting event was born. The Olympic Games were held here every four years from 776 BC to 393 AD. Olympia was not considered a city but rather a religious center dedicated to Zeus. The sanctuary still preserves the remains of several structures, including the workshop of the sculptor Phidias, a stadium, a gymnasium, and the Temple of Zeus. The latter suffered multiple catastrophes, including a fire and an earthquake. Archaeological excavations uncovered it after digging several meters deep. This temple once housed the chryselephantine statue of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Afternoon at sea. As you sail, you will pass the Ionian islands of Kefalonia and Ithaca, where, according to Homer’s epic, Odysseus was finally reunited with his loved ones after his long journey.

Morning excursion includes Mystras. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this ancient Byzantine... see+ capital of the Morea is a wonderful stopover in the heart of the Peloponnese. Situated at the foot of the magnificent Mount Taygetos, this group of Byzantine monasteries and the fortress overlooking them are architectural jewels, all set in a grandiose landscape. Discover the 13th-century Vrontochion monastery and the 14th-century Pantanassa monastery, whose interior is entirely decorated with 15th-century frescoes. On the way back, we pass through Sparta, whose name inevitably takes us back to ancient history. Sparta was the great rival of Athens and the city that challenged the great Persian Empire. Despite its tragic fate, the city still enjoys worldwide renown.
Afternoon cruise around the Peloponnese, a peninsula rich in history. As you cruise through the countryside, your imagination will be transported by Homer's epic tales. Conference in the lounge bar.

Afternoon excursion to Athens and the Acropolis. Dominating the plain, the Acropolis, the “high city”, occupies an exceptional site. Here, the first inhabitants built a fortress that became the most powerful city in ancient Greece: Athens. Although the Acropolis has been destroyed and plundered several times over the centuries, its ruins have been preserved and restored. With a healthy dose of imagination, you can step back in time to the splendor of ancient Greece as you stroll between the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechteion and the temple of Athena Nike.
