Tromso
Discover Tromsø, the capital of Northern Norway, as you stroll through its charming historic... see+ neighborhoods with colorful wooden houses. Nicknamed the "Paris of the North," the city was the starting point for many polar expeditions; its monuments and museums pay tribute to the great figures of Arctic exploration, including Roald Amundsen. Visit the Polar Museum or Polaria, an essential center for understanding the history, wildlife, and environments of the Far North, a true introduction to Spitsbergen. Free time at the end of the morning. The afternoon is also free to explore Tromsø as you wish: the Arctic Cathedral, the city's modern and luminous emblem; the ice bar, an unusual polar experience; or the Fjellheisen cable car, which takes you to the top of Storsteinen, offering spectacular views of Tromsø, its islands, and the surrounding fjords.

Tromso Lyngen Tromso
After leaving Tromsø, you will reach the fish-filled waters of Kaldfjord and its adjoining... see+ spinnaker arm, an area renowned for its regular sightings of orcas. Dolphins and painter whales also frequent these fjords, attracted by the huge schools of fish swimming up from the Barents Sea. The cruise takes place at the foot of the majestic Lyngen Alps, which stretch for more than 20 kilometers and rise up with their sharp peaks, dotted with glaciers. In total, no fewer than 140 glaciers dot this nature reserve, providing a spectacular backdrop for your observations of large cetaceans. Throughout the day, whales and exceptional landscapes punctuate the hours of northern light. At the end of the day, return to the port of Tromsø for a peaceful evening on the side of the boat.

Tromso Trollfjorden
As you continue your journey through the sheltered straits of the Inside Passage, the spectacular... see+ Lofoten wall gradually rises on the horizon. Its steep mountains, veritable blades of rock rising from the sea, reach heights of over 1,100 meters. Shaped by ancient glaciers, this mineral universe alternates between sharp peaks, cliffs shattered by frost, and deep valleys now flooded with water, a setting that gives the Lofoten Islands their status as one of the most impressive archipelagos in the world. Your day continues to the mythical Trollfjord, one of the most iconic fjords in Northern Norway. Narrow and dramatic, it opens up between two almost vertical rock faces to reveal a natural glacial cirque, now submerged. Its calm waters and sanctuary-like atmosphere make it a place of great serenity, which you will have plenty of time to enjoy as you sail along.

Trollfjorden Reine Nusfjord
The pearl of the Lofoten hamlets, protected by the UNESCO World Heritage listing of these "Rorby,"... see+ the old fishermen's houses. A museum/shop brings these times back to life, while nearby, the cod drying racks remind us of the origins of this picturesque hamlet. Continuing south on the Lofoten road, we arrive at the most impressive of the archipelago's sea and glacier coves: Reine, a true picture-postcard image of tourism in Norway. The village of Reine (population 300) is nestled in the hollow of the bays beneath the cliffs. On the coasts and capes, the drying cod are a reminder of the days of great fishing when thousands of skiffs went out to sea to bring back this providential food that made the reputation and wealth of these Lofoten mountains. Passing in the open sea of the village of Å, we will leave the islands of Rost and Vaerøy behind us before heading up the Leknes fjord.

Nusfjord Honningsvag Svolvaer
The day begins in the picturesque little town of Henningsvær, often referred to as "the Venice of... see+ Lofoten" because it stretches across a hundred small rocky islets connected by decks. Its large central fjord separates two lively shores dotted with colorful rorbuer, artists' studios, and small galleries. You then continue on to Svolvær, the archipelago's capital with a population of 4,800. Nestled between the sea and jagged mountains, the town is the maritime heart of Lofoten: its busy port is home to trawlers, fishing boats, and pleasure craft. Whales are regularly sighted in the coastal waters, a reminder of the biological richness of this northern region. Svolvær is also known for its iconic statue, Fiskekona, the "sailor's wife," a silhouette facing the sea in tribute to the fishermen. Enjoy free time to stroll around this Nordic setting of wooden houses, cod drying racks, old restored rorbuer, and, for the curious, a visit to Magic Ice, the famous ice bar with its sparkling sculptures.

Svolvaer Harstad Andenes
About 300 km north of the Arctic Circle, you will discover a town of 1,500 inhabitants that grew up... see+ around the fishing industry and has become one of the capitals of the Lofoten Islands. This region is renowned for its rich marine life, attracting many species of cetaceans: sperm whales, painter whales, orcas, and dolphins thrive on the schools of fish that abound in the cold, deep waters. During the day, whale watching safaris are organized to try to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat. On the shore, the historic lighthouse, built in 1859, remains an essential point for boats coming in from the open sea and serves as a reminder of the maritime importance of these coasts. In the evening, sail in the open sea off the coast of Harstad, a town marked by its military past: during World War II, the famous "Adolf" cannon was tasked with defending the coast and keeping enemy fleets at bay. The journey then continues along the inland fjord route, offering a serene and sheltered panorama between mountains, islands, and spinnaker arms, perfect for relaxing and observing Arctic nature.
