Málaga is a festive, historic city on the Costa... see+ del Sol in Andalusia. Between the marina and the beaches, the seafront promenade of La Farola offers an ideal setting for a stroll. A little further back, the Malagueta bullring is an emblematic site of the city. From the hill overlooking the old town, you can see Gibralfaro Castle and the Alcazaba, two fortified ensembles rising up from the cypress and maritime pine trees. To visit Pablo Picasso's birthplace, head to the majestic Plaza de la Merced. A few streets away, you can also visit the museum dedicated to the artist, in the Buenavista palace.

You can also drive through landscapes of vineyards and citrus groves as far as the eye can see on your way to Murcia, to visit this dynamic regional capital.

Although Oran's energy is elusive, the city has... see+ been a source of inspiration for great novels such as Cervantes' Don Quixote, Camus' La Peste and, more recently, Yasmina Khadra's Ce que le jour doit à la nuit. Andalusian sailors founded the city in 902, and it grew steadily to become Algeria's second-largest city. “La Radieuse”, as the city is known, reflects its many influences from the Middle East, Africa, the Mediterranean and, of course, France. Stroll through its streets and you'll see the Santa-Cruz fort, the Hassan Pacha mosque, the Sacré-Coeur cathedral, the Mediterranean city garden and the magnificent seafront. Not far away, in Sidi Bel Abbès, you may have the opportunity to visit a modern “khaima”, a traditional tent used by Bedouins in the desert, and discover Oranese traditions and customs.
