Morning guided tour included: Seville on foot. Discover this splendid city and its rich Arab past. The Andalusian capital is home to a priceless treasure trove of UNESCO World Heritage monuments. In the early afternoon, sail to Cadiz. You'll sail along the Doñana Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It stretches along the right bank of the Guadalquivir to its estuary. Situated between Europe and Africa, it is Europe's largest wetland and attracts millions of migratory birds.

Departure by coach to Jerez.... see+ Nestled in the heart of Andalusia, Jerez is renowned for its sherry, Andalusian horses, and flamenco. A city tour will allow you to discover the main monuments. Then you will visit the Alcazar, an ancient fortified palace dating from the 9th century that bears witness to the city's Muslim heritage. Its beautifully restored outbuildings include the Christianized mosque, dedicated to Santa María la Real, the Arab Baths, the Oil Mill, and peaceful gardens. Finally, you will visit the majestic cathedral, an architectural masterpiece that combines Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles. Built on the remains of an ancient mosque, it is famous for its impressive altarpiece and magnificent chapels. Be sure to climb the stairs of the tower to admire a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Return to the side of the boat. Afternoon visit included: Cadiz. Departure by foot toward the historic center of Cadiz. Standing at the end of a strip of land, Cadiz lies at the heart of a coastline of lagoons, beaches, and salt marshes. Once coveted by the Phoenicians, Greeks, and other peoples, the white city has retained the old-fashioned charm of a lively historic center over the centuries. The winding streets of the medieval quarter and the more orderly streets of the Baroque quarter give it an undeniable appeal.

Flamenco show on the side of the boat. Flamenco (cante flamenco) is an art form created by the Gypsy and Andalusian people, based on popular folklore from the various cultures that flourished over the centuries in Spain. Among its many traditions, wine has always played a key role in Andalusian culture. The exceptional climatic conditions make it possible to produce wines with the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Denomination of Origin.
Afternoon sailing to Isla Minima. Evening visit to a typical Andalusian hacienda in Isla Minima, on the banks of the Guadalquivir. The hacienda was originally a brava ranch. In early 1940, the Escobar family acquired almost the entire site and founded the Finca de Isla Minima. Thanks to the quality of the pastures, this was the ideal place for breeding bulls and Carthusian horses. The owners turned it into a model farm. Return to the ship after the show. Departure for Seville.

In the morning, included excursion: Seville Cathedral and the Palace of the Countess of Lebrija.... see+ Guided tour of the cathedral, which remains one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world today. Built on the remains of the old mosque, it became the Church of Santa María and the city's cathedral during the Christian era, but it retained its minaret, which later became the famous Giralda that we know today and which offers a magnificent view of the Andalusian capital. Then visit the Palace of the Countess of Lebrija. A magnificent example of historic Andalusian architecture, built in the early 20th century, it is famous for its sumptuous interior, which combines elements of Neo-Mudejar, Gothic, and Baroque styles, and for its remarkable art collection, including Spanish works of art and Roman antiquities. It is also known for its impressive patio, decorated with mosaics, colorful ceramics, and lush gardens, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere. Formerly the residence of the Countess of Lebrija, this fascinating place offers a unique glimpse into the history and refinement of the Andalusian aristocracy.
Free afternoon in Seville. Or Optional excursion: day trip to Granada (only if booked in advance before departure, 3 hours each way by car). Departure by coach to Granada. You will visit the Alhambra, the Generalife, and the historic center. Built on three hills, with the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada as a backdrop, Granada reveals its most beautiful treasure, the Alhambra, as soon as you arrive. The last city to be reconquered by the Catholic monarchs in the 15th century, you will be transported to an oriental atmosphere. Gastronomy, crafts, and architecture are marked by its glorious past. Return by coach to Seville.

In the morning, excursion included: the park of Christopher Columbus' caravels. Departure for a... see+ guided tour of the Gothic-Mudejar Franciscan monastery, built between the 14th and 15th centuries. Christopher Columbus stayed here while planning his departure for the New World. A fresco by Daniel Vázquez Díaz dating from 1930 illustrates the navigator's epic and recalls his historic role. Over the centuries, new buildings enlarged the monastery. Then on to the Caravelles Park in Huelva, from where the great explorer set sail on August 3, 1492. The site is home to life-size replicas of La Pinta, La Niña and La Santa Maria, the three ships of Christopher Columbus' expedition.
Return to Seville. Free afternoon in Seville. Discover this splendid city at your own pace. Don't hesitate to head to the Maria Louisa park for some fresh air, or to the historic center to soak up the city's friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Visit Cordoba and its mosque-cathedral
Departure by coach from Seville for the excursion to Cordoba. Cordoba's golden age began in the 8th century when it was conquered by the Moors and some 300 mosques and countless palaces and public buildings were constructed, rivalling the splendors of... see+ Constantinople, Damascus, and Baghdad. In the 13th century, under Ferdinand III the Saint, the Great Mosque of Cordoba (Mezquita) was converted into a cathedral and new defensive structures were built, including the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos and the Calahorra tower-fortress. Lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon free to explore the city at your leisure. Return to Seville. NOTES Entrance to the Mezquita is included. Please wear comfortable shoes. Seville on foot
Departure on foot for the guided tour of Seville. We will start at Plaza de España, decorated with azulejos and built especially for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. The square forms a semicircle 200 meters in diameter, symbolizing Spain welcoming its... see+ former colonies. It faces the Guadalquivir River, representing the path to the Atlantic Ocean and America. A single building runs along its entire curved side. In the center of the square is a fountain (designed by Vicente Traver, an architect from Valencia). Between the center and the palace are canals, also in a semicircle. Four decks span them, representing the four former queens of Spain. Continue your visit in the charming Santa Cruz district, where you can enjoy a pleasant stroll past typical Sevillian flower-filled patios. Formerly the Jewish quarter, located within the old city walls, it is part of the historic heart of the city and is adjacent to the most famous monuments of the Andalusian capital. A place of art and history, the district dates back to the Middle Ages and is steeped in legends, churches, and palaces that bear witness to its past. Developed in the early 20th century, it is now one of Seville's most iconic neighborhoods. It is best known for its charming steep streets and shaded squares. Then, discover the Alcazar, home to the King of Spain and one of the oldest royal palaces in Europe. A fortress and Moorish residence, the Alcazaba (the old Arab quarter) is a sublime illustration of the Mudejar style, showcasing a masterful combination of Moorish techniques and Christian symbols. Return to the quay at the end of the morning. Duration: 3.5 hours Please wear comfortable shoes. Non-EU nationals are advised to check with their embassy or consulate to verify formalities. Explore Cadiz
Depart by coach to begin your tour of Cadiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe. This panoramic tour will allow you to enjoy the cultural and historical richness of the city, as well as discover the beauty of its bay. Then, take a walking tour of the city.... see+ The old town is home to the city's most typical neighborhoods, with superb Baroque churches and elegant stately homes, many of which are adorned with facades painted in delicate pastel colors and ornate wrought-iron pulpit. Start your visit at the 17th-century San Sebastian Castle. It is located on a small island off La Caleta Beach. It was built to protect the northern part of the city. Since 1908, it has housed a 41-meter-high lighthouse. Discover the La Viña neighborhood, whose center is located in Santa María Square. It is a popular and typical neighborhood. Formerly a humble neighborhood, it is where flamenco parties take place, far from the port and shops. La Viña, a traditional Spanish neighborhood, is the main venue for the carnival, characterized by its beauty, gastronomy, and joie de vivre in the streets. They say the festivities never stop. Continue on to the cathedral. Its construction took 116 years, which explains the diversity of styles that can be appreciated there. Begun in the Baroque style, its most recent elements are neoclassical. Its interior preserves sculptures from the old cathedral. The building is covered with a golden-tiled dome, giving it an impressive appearance. Let yourself be charmed by this white and blue city. Return to the side of the boat in Cadiz. Excursion to Jerez and horse show
Cadiz will be your starting point for an excursion to Jerez. Jerez is famous for its wines, flamenco, horses, and bull breeding. Take a panoramic bus tour of Jerez, during which you will discover the cathedral built in 1695, which stands on the site of the... see+ former mosque of Jerez and the former Church of El Salvador. The bell tower outside was probably built on top of the mosque's minaret. The rectangular temple has five naves and incorporates a Latin cross structure. Next, you will discoverthe Alcazar, which has retained much of its original construction. This living area-based building is of Almohad origin and was erected in the 12th century. It was the residence of the Sevillian caliphs and the seat of the Christian governors after the city fell to Alfonso X. You will continue with a visit to a stud farm housing magnificent Andalusian horses and watch a show showcasing the equestrian art for which the country is famous. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and at the confluence of three rivers, Granada was the capital of the last Muslim kingdom on the Iberian Peninsula.Upon arrival, you will begin with a visit tothe... see+ Alhambra, which means "the red one" because of the color of its walls at sunset. It is one of the major monuments of Islamic architecture and the most majestic medieval acropolis in the Mediterranean world.
