abacos Islands
Your sea trip will then take you to the Abacos, the capital of sailing. A true paradise for sailing and fishing, the Abacos attract travelers from all over the world every year. If you've never had the chance to try surfing, windsurfing or kayaking, this is the place to do it! Discover the superb stretches of pink sand on the islands mixed with the colors of incomparable waters. Explore the island of Green Turtle Cay with its extraordinary seabed. Nassau

To end your trip in style, set off to discover the island of Andros, located just opposite the capital. This stop will be devoted to animal watching in the West Side National Park. When to set sail on your cruise to Eleuthera?
Eleuthera enjoys the tropical climate of the Bahamas, which is conducive to relaxation for more than 10 months of the year. We recommend that you go betweenApril and August. There are a few showers at the end of the day and at night, but they are only temporary. In summer, temperatures rise to 35°C. Take the opportunity to relax in a sea at 27°C! avoid the hurricane season, between June and October or even November, as the Caribbean is very much touched by these meteorological phenomena.

How do I get there?
The only way to get toEleuthera Island is byplane. From France, departing from Paris CDG or Orly, you have two choices: take a plane to the United States or to Nassau. Depending on your dates of stay, you can find flights with one or more stopovers lasting between 14 and 20 hours to New York and then Miami or Nassau.
Once you arrive at Miami airport, you can take a small plane that will take you directly to North Eleuthera, and then you will reach your departure base. You can also fly to Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. From Nassau, you just need to take one of the many ferries that make the Nassau-Eleuthera crossing daily. The ferry trip takes about 2.5 hours. You can also take a plane, for a journey of just 20 minutes to Eleuthera, before joining your boat and setting off on a cruise to discover the Bahamas!
What kind of boat license is required?
In the Bahamas, a boat license is not required to sail. However, you will be asked to fill in your nautical CV, attesting to previous experience on a boat similar to the one you are renting. For peace of mind, you can also take the skipper option and let a professional steer your boat while you enjoy the scenery!
