The Tucepi Marina is a modern marina with only 50 berths and all the services that a modern marina can offer. Tucepi is a tourist resort southeast of Makarska with an abundance of pebble beaches and hotels. The Gothic church of St. Juraj, the Renaissance church of St. Mihovil and several Baroque summer residences are well preserved.
A former fishing village turned to tourism
Thanks to its new marina, Tucepi is becoming increasingly popular with vacationers and boaters, who quickly feel at home in this former fishing village. Despite its small size, the town began to welcome its first visitors in 1960, after the construction of numerous holiday homes and modern infrastructure. But it is mainly its beach that is the center of attention.
Stretching over more than 3 km, Tucepti beach is the longest on the Makarska Riviera. This pebble beach, which borders almost the entire city, is also lined with a long avenue of pine trees offering some shade to walkers who can extend their strolls to the town of Podgora.
A cruise along the Makarska Riviera
Yacht charterers in Tucepi can enjoy a unique excursion along the Makarska Riviera, dominated by the Biokovo massif. The latter is home to charming seaside resorts surrounded by pine forests, such as Makarska, the closest town to Tucepi. This large town welcomes many young people and families who veer towards sailing, water-jet-powered motorized craft and other fun leisure activities on its 2 km long beach.
Your catamaran cruise in Croatia will take you to other captivating towns, such as Brela, home to the famous Punta Rata beach, with its mixture of sand and pebbles, and three other pretty beaches flying the Blue Flag. in Živogošće, families will appreciate the coolness of its fine gravel beach with its very clean waters and its alley of fir and olive trees offering them some shade during the hottest hours. Those who wish to extend their cruise are invited to join the seaside resort of Split, taking shape in the northwest of the Riviera, or the island of Brac pointing southwest of Brela.
