First, in the village of Marienwerder, sometimes called Kwidzyn, you will find a neo-Gothic church built in 1855. Little by little, the houses that formed the hamlet of Kwidzyn developed around this church. Continue your urban trek to Ruhlsdorf, where you can admire the oldest building in Marienwerder. Built in 1775, the church of Ruhlsdorf replaces an old half-timbered building dating from 1663.
To round off your historical tour in style, head for the Sophienstädt district. A picturesque part of Marienwerder, Sophienstädt is particularly popular with nature lovers. It is no less a place to amaze history buffs with its Büttner church from 1914, recognized as a jewel of Prussian architecture.

Ruhlsdorf, which is linked to the Schorfheide Barnim Nature Park, is particularly interesting for vacationers interested in water sports.
