Fano is a magnificent city in the center of Italy that enjoys a privileged location on the side of the Adriatic Sea. Don't miss the polenta of San Costanzo, the lasagne of Piazza Marconi, not to mention the wines from the region's prestigious cellars.
Immerse yourself in a medieval atmosphere during the famous San Bartolomeo Fair, held every year at the end of August. More than 270 exhibitors, colonizing the streets of Fano from the port to the city center, will offer you products of all kinds. Linger in the Place de Gerboni during this event to continue your little gastronomic break. But what makes the San Bartolomeo Fair unique are the 3 days of festivities that immerse you in a medieval atmosphere with drum performances and archery competitions. Children will even have the opportunity to participate in the making of medieval swords.
