Yacht charter

Last updated on 8 April 2025

Salerno is conveniently located for visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii, which is only 30-40 minutes away by train.

Its Gulf is very beautiful and you can easily sail to the Gulf of Naples by catamaran, along the Amalfi coast and head for the beautiful islands of Capri, Procida or Ischia. The port is close to the city where you can easily find supermarkets, restaurants, bars...

Part of the province of the same name, in the Campania region, Salerno is considered one of the most beautiful regions in Italy. Located in a bay on the Tyrrhenian coast, Salerno is distinguished by its ancient history and its marvelous, unspoiled natural environment, which invites discovery and enchantment.

Salerno and its surroundings

The city of Salerno is very well located and remains an excellent starting point for visiting the well-known tourist sites in the surrounding area. Yacht charter in Salerno is also an unmissable way to discover the surrounding area. You can discover the treasures of this part of Italy, such as the famous Amalfi Coast. The coast, of rare beauty, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It would be a shame not to take the opportunity to stroll for a few hours through its flower-filled streets.

A stroll that will take you to the Duomo di Amalfi, an important Catholic church in the neo-Gothic and Baroque style built in the 11th century. Your excursion along the coast will also take you to Pompeii and its ruins, as well as to Naples, where an archaeological museum and the Galleria Umberto, built in 1887, await you. Once your trip at sea is over, you can devote yourself to exploring the city of Salerno. Its beautiful ancient architecture is well worth a visit. The castle and the medical school of Salerno are among the must-sees. As for the Temple of Neptune at Paestum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it will undoubtedly delight budding historians.

As for nature lovers, you will be particularly charmed by the Minerva Garden and the Villa Comunale park, where an incredible biodiversity of animals and plants awaits you. But the most wonderful memories of your sailboat charter in Salerno will undoubtedly be those spectacular sea trips where many fun activities await families. Diving and swimming are on the agenda! Even gourmets will find what they are looking for in the many restaurants that populate the city. On the menu, tasty pasta and grilled fish, Scazzetta for dessert accompanied by a good local wine, Colli di Salerno.
