Yacht Charter Amalfi Coast

Last updated on 24 February 2026

A small part of the Amalfi coast, the town of Amalfi will certainly fulfill the expectations of lovers of these magnificent panoramas similar to its landscapes straight out of a postcard. The yacht charter in Amalfi is aimed at travelers and yachtsmen who like to sail along the rocky coasts of Italy in a catamaran, the wind in their hair.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, the Amalfi Coast is truly captivating with the incredible beauty of its richly contrasting landscape. Following the Gulf of Salerno, you will reach the town of Amalfi in the Campania region. At first glance, high rocky cliffs appear before your eyes, with a charming town and its port on the heights. In the background, you can see the steep slopes of Mount Cerreto, rising to 1,315 meters above sea level.

Considered one of the most important ports in Europe between the 9th and 12th centuries, Amalfi shines not only for the uniqueness of its landscape, but also for the historical remains that embellish its medieval city streets. The Duomo of Amalfi, built during the 11th century in the Arab-Norman style, is clearly the city's most emblematic monument.

What is there to visit in Amalfi?

Most activities in Amalfi revolve around its rich historical heritage, which immerses the city in a medieval world. Foot is of course the best way to soak up this medieval atmosphere in the heart of the city center, with its succession of stairways, colorful houses, shops and ancient buildings. Amlafi's monuments are remarkable, as you will quickly realize when you see its pastel-colored cathedral, built in the 9th century. This historical interlude continues at the Cloître du Paradis, whose construction dates back to the 13th century, offering walkers a moment of contemplation. Crossing this magnificent masterpiece, the point where Arab and Romanesque cultures meet, you arrive at the diocesan museum in the Basilica of the Crucifix. The Cappella di San Lorenzo, the Cappellina di Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Cappella di Sant'Anna La Scura are all beautiful examples of architecture to be immortalized during your stay in Amalfi.

In the Amalfi area

A stay in Amalfi gives yachtsmen the opportunity to set off to conquer the Amalfi coast, which is home to historical and natural treasures of breathtaking beauty. Nature reveals its strangest works to us 5 km west of Amalfi. In the bay of Conca dei Marini, a mysterious cave awaits you and is called the Emerald Grotto. Discovered in 1932, this cave is home to an underground cavern with clear turquoise water running through it. A short boat trip in the cave in the middle of the day will give you the opportunity to admire the sparkling blue of the water, enhanced by the sun's rays.

A mini-cruise from Amlafi to Capri, about 17 nautical miles away, will be the perfect end to your vacation. Historic monuments, exotic villas and breathtaking natural sites will be on display along the paths winding across the island, such as the coastal path running along the southeast of the island.
