Monte Argentario is a peninsula in the shape of a mountainous promontory, connected to the coast by three tombolos, in the province of Grosseto, south of the Tuscan coast. The two main population centers of the municipality of Monte Argentario are Porto Santo Stefano to the north and Porto Ercole to the east.
