Having held the "Seaside Resort" label since 2009, Larmor-Plage remains the French benchmark for sea lovers visiting the Morbihan department of Brittany. This town in the Lorient Agglomeration community is particularly popular for the quality of its water sports activities. However, its beautiful setting, which harmoniously combines nature and urban constructions, is also one of its assets.
Our yacht charter base in Larmor will be a delight for those who wish to veer off into the Atlantic, along the coasts of Finistère, Morbihan and Loire-Atlantique. Among the many destinations you can explore, the fascinating islands of Groix, Houat and Hœdic will leave you with unforgettable memories thanks to their enchanting landscapes that exude serenity. Belle-Île-en-Mer is obviously a must, where you will have the privilege of discovering sumptuous natural sites such as the Aiguilles de Port Coton, the superb Donnant beach and the Pointe des Poulains.
However, don't forget that your vacation can begin as soon as you arrive in Larmor-Plage. So be sure to visit the Kerguélen ocean park and the remarkable church of Notre-Dame de Larmor-Plage, listed as a historic monument.

A day at Larmor-Plage
For those on land, Larmor-Plage also offers fun and relaxation. Sundays are enlivened by the traditional market, which is held in the main square. During the week, people gather on the long promenade of Port Maria, which offers a magnificent view of the harbor of Lorient and the island of Groix. Walks in Larmor-Plage are also enhanced by visits to a number of ancient monuments such as the 18th-century Notre-Dame fountain and the Kernével fort, built in 1961 and facing the citadel of Port-Louis. Completing the defensive system established at the entrance to Lorient harbor, the Kernével fort now hosts several conferences on the theme of the sea, which are open to the public.
