Yacht charter

Last updated on 8 April 2025

Discover the pleasures of boat trips to Sète, a charming fishing port with numerous canals leading to some magnificent spots.

straddling the famous Thau lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea, this commune in the Hérault department is best explored by boat, thanks to the countless canals criss-crossing the town. By opting for yacht charter in Sète, pleasure boaters can enjoy unforgettable trips on the calm waters of Sète and set off to discover the city's little treasures.

also considered the little Venice of Languedoc, Sète is embellished with a few ports and several quays allowing you to access the city's architectural marvels such as the Mont-Saint-Clair lighthouse and its belvederere or the 17th-century church of Saint-Louis, which has been home to a bourdon bell since 1924. Sète also proves to be an excellent point of departure for discovering some natural beauties such as the Thau lagoon, a natural environment hosting a significant animal and plant biodiversity. On the other side of the lagoon, travelers will discover a completely different landscape. A world dotted with beautiful sandy beaches, such as Lido beach, just waiting to be discovered!

Rediscover Sète and the Mediterranean coast by sailboat, catamaran or motorboat.

Easily accessible beaches

The commune of Sète has 12 km of developed beaches which are particularly easy to access. From the Corniche promenade, walkers can stroll leisurely from one beach to another on foot, by bike or on horseback. With the Thau lagoon in the background, the beaches of Sète have the same characteristics as those that enhance the department of Aude. If you'd like to enjoy a pleasant day by the sea, lay your towel down on the Quilles beach. Located not far from the port of Quilles, it is sheltered from the wind and has many restaurants.

For days at the side of the sea with the family, set your sights on the Corniche beach. One of the most beautiful in the seaside resort, the Corniche beach has several playgrounds and is also close to several bars and restaurants. It is also the best place for water sports enthusiasts.

La Fontaine beach is certainly the most family-oriented of all. Friendly and lively, it is located just after the Canal des Quilles. It has a first aid station and is home to some nice restaurants. Want to try camping by the sea with the family? Leave your yacht charter in the Mediterranean and head for Castellos beach. Located on the edge of the Thau lagoon, on the Lido, this beach is very popular in summer because of the nearby campsite. It is also very attractive given its distance of about 10 km from the city center.

And if you're looking for a quiet place to swim, drop anchor in the open sea off Jalabert beach. Jalabert beach, on the road to Marseillan, is the wildest of all, with high dunes offering a little privacy to its visitors.
