This site, located in the south of the island, is an Ionian sanctuary that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. At the heart of the sanctuary stand the ruins of the temple of Rhécos, that of Polucrates and the altar of Héra. 6 km from the sanctuary, you will also discover an ancient city built on marshland.

Our sailboat charter base on the island of Samos is located at the port of Pythagorion, on the east coast of the island.
This island, very close to Turkey, has two of the highest peaks in the Aegean Islands; despite numerous fires, the landscapes remain green with its forests of oak and eucalyptus. The island has numerous archaeological sites.
Our base is in Pythagorion, the island's original capital and ancient city with a wealth of archaeological treasures. Today it is a major tourist center and the island's leading seaside resort.
In addition to the island's anchorages, you can sail to Patmos and its famous monastery, or head down to the Dodecanese islands, or head west to the Cyclades, Ikaria, Mykonos, etc.
