A day in Capri
When you set foot on Capri, the first thing you notice is its nature. Several sailing itineraries are available to you, along the coasts, through the gardens or up to the highest peak on the island. The most daring will tackle Mount Solaro, which rises to over 589 meters above sea level from Anacapri. Reach the summit by cable car, departing from Piazza Vittoria, where you will be treated to a breathtaking view of the entire island. The return trip will be on foot, so you can enjoy a breath of fresh air.
For a more exotic touch to your walking excursion, choose the coastal path, which winds along the south-eastern coast of Capri. Allow a good two hours from the town of Capri to complete this sailing itinerary. This walk will take you through the woods and will lead you to a number of places of interest such as the Villa Malaparte, the Grotta di Matermania, the port of Tragara and, of course, the Faraglioni. The Gardens of Augustus will delight budding botanists, who will be able to observe the different varieties of plants growing on the island. Built on terraces at the beginning of the 20th century, these gardens also offer a remarkable view of the Faraglioni and Mount Solaro.

It will be a relaxing and entertaining way to discover its secluded beaches and numerous mysterious caves. A brief historical interlude awaits you in the southwest of the island, where the Punta Carena lighthouse, built in 1867, stands.
