Strolling through the lively streets of the city will lead you to some cozy restaurants where you can treat yourself to a pleasant culinary journey. On your plate, you'll find the famous seafood paella or even turrón, a confectionery made with egg white, honey, almonds and sugar.
Those with a penchant for beautiful architecture will continue their stroll to the religious buildings that majestically adorn the town, including the Cathedral of St. Nicholas of Bari, which reveals a Renaissance and Baroque style. The Palace of the Provincial Government, the House of the Witches and the Town Hall are also a must on your visit.
Your walks will be punctuated by visits to parks and green spaces that add a touch of authenticity to the municipality, such as Canalejas Park. Extending the Esplanade of Spain, Canalejas Park is just a few minutes from the sea and boasts splendid century-old ficus trees. The Palmeral park, located south of Alicante, offers a gentle stroll through an avenue of palm trees leading to splendid waterfalls.

near the castle of Santa Barbara lies Postiguet beach. It remains the meeting place for families who will enjoy its 600 km of sand and its promenade, which is dotted with restaurants and cafés.
