Last updated on 8 April 2025

Located in the province of Alicante, on Spain's famous Costa Blanca, Denia is an essential stopover to appreciate the charm of the Valencian Community. Thanks to a yacht charter in Denia, you will have the opportunity to tour the most prestigious places in the region. it should be noted that the town is less than 100 km from Valencia and the lively island of Ibiza.

During your stopover in Dénia, you can begin to discover the country by visiting its architectural and historical heritage. Perched on the highest point of the city, the castle is one of the must-see sites in the area. The Almadrava site, the churches of Asunción and Jesús Pobre and the chapel of Santa Lucía will also amaze you with their beauty.

You can also take advantage of Denia's yacht charter service by stopping off and immersing yourself in the heart of the city's neighborhoods, the most captivating of which are Barri Baix la Mar and les Roques. Here, you will have the choice between two beaches to quench your thirst for absolute relaxation: the stretch of sand of Las Marinas or the stony beach of Las Rotas.

A natural park that is well worth a visit

While history buffs will quickly feel at home in Dénia, hiking enthusiasts will also be in their element. Dénia is not just famous for its valuable historical heritage. A magnificent park also makes the city a must-see in the province of Alicante. This park extends between Xàbia and Dénia and encompasses the Montgó massif. A true haven of peace, the Montgó natural park promises you a pleasant change of scenery and breathtaking panoramas!

Around the rocky promontory, 753 meters above sea level, flourishes a rich flora that will entertain budding botanists. Here, budding botanists will find a number of endemic species such as lavender, valerianella locusta and scabious, which grows discreetly on the cliffs. Your excursion in this protected park will also give you the opportunity to admire the seagulls, golden eagles and owls colonizing the cliffs, as well as the badgers, weasels and foxes that prefer the coolness of the coppice. Climbing enthusiasts will enjoy the spectacular views from the summit.

Beautiful beaches not to be missed

It is also impossible to resist the urge to treat yourself to a gentle escape to the sea at the sight of these sparkling waters caressing splendid rivers of sand. There are particularly many beaches at the start of the coastal area of the Montgó nature park.

To get off to a great start on your tour of the city's most beautiful beaches during your cruise on the southern coast of Spain, begin with Playa de Les Deveses. With a 3 km stretch of fine sand, it is perfect for kitesurfing and sailing enthusiasts. Snorkeling enthusiasts are invited to linger at the Els Molins beach. Don't miss the Les Bovetes beach, the most famous in Dénia.
