Yacht charter

Last updated on 8 April 2025

The municipality of Marbella, which belongs to the autonomous community of Andalusia, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. Located less than 60 km from the city of Malaga, this splendid seaside resort is indeed worthy of praise with its splendid sandy beaches that invite you to relax.

Discover the most beautiful beaches of Marbella

Bathed in the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, the coastal town of Marbella appeals above all to vacationers who love those long stretches of sand where they can veer off on their favorite summer activities.favorite activities. There is something for all tastes and all ages. What's more, by opting for a yacht charter in Marbella, you'll be able to set off to conquer its most beautiful beaches, which follow one after the other along its 26 km of coastline.

Starting from the center of the seaside resort, you can reach the lovely golden sand of Bounty Beach, also known as Playa del Cable. Beach volleyball and partying enthusiasts will love it. Playa de Alicate is also a must, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet. This magnificent beach, located about ten kilometers from Marbella, is not very busy, even in high season, and even has a few charming restaurants where you can sample local fish and meat specialties.

While families relax on Nagüeles beach, water sports enthusiasts will be veering in the open sea to try their hand at water skiing, sailing, wakeboarding, kayaking or even parasailing.

Yachtsmen, for their part, will enjoy a pleasant sea trip along the Costa del Sol, a trip that will take them to the villages of Mijas and Estepona, beautifying the southern coast of Spain.

Take a break from history

An unmissable destination on the Costal del Sol, Marbella also seems perfectly equipped to entertain history lovers who linger in the old town looming at the foot of the Sierra Blanca.

Strolling through its streets with orange trees on the side of the boat, you will succumb to the charm of its whitewashed houses with a typically Andalusian appearance. Your stroll will take you to the Plaza de Los Naranjos, where noble buildings such as the Casa del Corregidor, built in the 12th century, stand out.

The Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación, built in the 16th century, embellishes the plazuela de la Iglesia and houses one of the most impressive organs in Spain. You can also take a photo of some towers, the remains of an ancient 9th-century fortress built during the Arab colonization.

Short nature hike

On the nature side, hikers will delight in their long walks in the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. This mountainous region of more than 20,000 hectares invites you to discover a particularly varied local flora.

Recognized by UNESCO in 1995, the park is located a few kilometers from the seaside resort. The latter will also delight budding speleologists who will explore the Sima GEMS, a major karst formation considered to be the deepest in Andalusia.
