Attractions in the city of Lübz
It is lovely to stroll through the welcoming town of Lübz. A calm, relaxing, country atmosphere reigns. In this pleasant setting, discover the interesting monuments that are the pride of the village, in particular the Amtsturm of Lübz. This first point of interest is a tower dating from 1306 that has been converted into the town museum. After your visit to the museum, relax in the park next to the Amtsturm and immortalize its pretty Schirmkinder fountain.
In the city, also visit the Renaissance-style Roman Catholic church housing the tomb of Duchess Sophie. The collegiate church and the Lutheran Evangelical church, the largest of the three, are also not to be missed. During your stroll, admire the half-timbered houses in Mühlenstraße, the Ziegenmarkt, the mill and the Ludwigslust-Parchim planetarium. Finish your city tour by heading for the Lübz marina, close-hauled to the city center. It will be an excellent point of departure for new adventures.

In the second part of the trip, plan a yacht charter on the Lübz. This will allow you to explore the hinterland while having fun. By boat, first reach Lake Passow, in the middle of a forested region, where you can veer towards fishing. Then head for Plauer See, where you can swim, dive and sail.
To admire the sumptuous landscapes of the bays close to Plauer See, sail close-hauled to Suckower Keller, Leistener Lanke and Seeluster Bay. To immerse yourself in the wilderness of the Mecklenburg region, sail towards Karow. There, a hike or bike ride to Borkow through immense forests, marshes and meadows awaits you. You can also try the unique bike-cart ride, a sort of pedal-powered cart on rails.
