Every summer since 1991, the international opera festival Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg has been held here.
It is also worth spending some time in Rheinsberg to discover its ceramics, which enjoy an excellent reputation. The first earthenware factory opened its doors in 1762. From then on, the region's ceramics quickly gained in reputation, as the remains and documents on display at the city's Ceramics Museum show. During your stopover at the Wolfsbruch marina, don't miss the traditional pottery market in October, where you can discover another craft typical of the region.

Enjoy sailing on the region's most famous lakes, such as the Großer Stechlinsee, a 412-hectare lake in the north of the state of Brandenburg, on the western edge of the municipality of Rheinsberg.
