Waren is a town in Germany located in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in the north of the country. It lies on the shores of Müritz, considered the largest lake in the region and the second largest lake in Germany in terms of surface area. A yacht charter from Waren for a trip along this lake, nicknamed "morcze" or little sea, promises a real escape and adventure. It is above all a vacation spot where you can relax in peace and quiet. A marina that stands in front of a succession of half-timbered houses welcomes you in a charming setting.
During your cruise in the open sea off Waren, plan a stopover at the Müritz National Park. You can stretch your legs by exploring this site by bike, on a loop of about twenty kilometers. Equipped with their binoculars, birdwatchers can even observe the osprey, Germany's heraldic bird of prey. You should also pay a visit to the Müritzeum. This center is world-famous for its huge aquariums with a capacity of 100,000 liters, which are home to more than 40 aquatic species. Other buildings are also worth a visit, such as St. George's Church, a three-nave basilica, and St. Mary's Church, a single-nave church that stands on the eastern part of the old town.
