San Foca is a seaside resort in Salento, part of the Melendugno marina in the province of Lecce, located between Torre Specchia Ruggeri and Roca Vecchia on the Adriatic Sea. Its marina is one of the most important on the coast between Brindisi and Otranto. The coast in the marina is rocky and is characterized by two coves of fine sand (to the north and south of the port). at North Bay, there are a few rocks ranging in size from one to thirty meters. The most famous is called Otto Rock because of its characteristic shape. There is a fishing village here, mainly inhabited during the summer.
