Is there electricity on board a houseboat?

All boats are equipped with a 12-volt cigarette lighter outlet (like in cars), which you can use to plug in your cell phone charger or any other electronic device with a compatible plug. Some models have 110/210/220V outlets (you will need an adapter specific to your destination country). On most boats, these outlets only work when the boat is underway or docked.
