Can I pay part of my charter by check?
Updated on: 26/05/2025Yes, this is possible under certain conditions (see below). If these conditions are met, the customer may pay by check by following thesteps below:
The customer must:
- Make the check payable to FILOVENT
- Make the check payable to FILOVENT
- Write on the back of the check: FILOVENT IBAN: FR76 1695 8000 0142 1744 9335 362
At Filovent
- Go to Qonto, follow the check deposit process, and retrieve a deposit number

Checks for up to €5,000 are accepted for deposits via our Qonto bank.
NOTES
If the client does not have an email address, they must send their check to Filovent’s headquarters; once the check arrives at Filovent, a photo of the check must be taken

Important
- Payments by check for the first deposit are not accepted (due to postal delays). Filovent cannot commit to reserving a boat without payment of the first deposit. You must therefore use a fast payment method for the first deposit (credit card or bank transfer). You may therefore only pay the balance of your charter by check.
- For payments by check of the charter balance,the payment date is moved up by 2 weeks. Example: for a payment due 6 weeks before departure, the check must besent at least 8 weeks before departure
