Will there be a river guide on board if I rent a river boat?

For any river charter, you’ll have a local guide on board. However, if you’d like to plan your stops in advance and familiarize yourself with the area before your charter, we recommend ordering a river guide from Editions du Breil. We’ve known them for a long time, and for about twenty USD, you’ll get a comprehensive guide in three languages (French, English, German).

Additionally, to get an idea of travel times and the locks you’ll need to pass through, we recommend the FluviaCap website—the Google Maps of river navigation! You can also use it before booking your boat to choose the departure point that best suits you based on the stops you’d like to make.
