Why keep a logbook?
Updated on: 26/05/2025As a boat renter, we recommend that you keep a logbook, acopy of which is usually provided by the rental company. In this document, you should record information regarding the operation of the rented boat, such as any damage to the boat or any incidents that occur while sailing.
In the event of damage to the boat, if you have purchased the damage waiver insurance, this logbook will be requested by the insurer tocomplete the reimbursement claim (in the event that the local rental company withholds all or part of your deposit).
