Can I put an option on a boat I'm interested in?

Updated on: 19/08/2025

Of course! Placing a booking holds the boat you’re interested in, , giving you time to securely complete your yacht charter payment. Your advisor will handle everything, and before sending you your booking link, they’ll make sure the boat is properly booked for you. You can then proceed with your payment with peace of mind.

Be careful, however, aboutthe expiration of your reservation: if it is approaching and your payment has not been made, please pay by credit card. Bank transfers can often take time to process. You can also contact your advisor to extend the reservation, but this can only be done under two conditions:

  • the boat must not be on a waiting list
  • the charter company must give its approval

Generally, an option is valid for 72 hours. The closer your cruise date approaches, the shorter this period will be, and vice versa. Placing an option is free and non-binding.

What if the boat I’m interested in is already under option, either with Filovent or on a competitor’s site? No problem—our advisor will place the boat on the waiting list for you. As soon as the initial option expires, the boat you’re interested in will automatically be placed under option for you.
