The Marina Botafoch, where our yacht charter base is located, is in the north of the city of Eivissa, opposite the Marina, and is a very central and lively place. The port of Eivissa is one of the focal points of the island: it is the point of entry for thousands of travelers arriving by sea, for the yachts and sailboats crossing the Mediterranean, stopovers for luxury cruises and impressive transatlantic liners.
During the day, there is a certain amount of marine activity, and many retired fishermen gather in the traditional bars of the neighborhood.
The old market with its displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables, and the Fish Market will enchant you.
Café terraces, ice cream parlors and restaurants stay open until dawn.from this base, you can easily discover the 18 km of beaches dotted along the 210 km of coastline or head down to the quieter little island of Formentera.
Beautiful beaches near the marina
The Marina Botafoch is in fact an excellent point of departure for exploring the most beautiful beaches on the island and, why not, in the Balearic Islands. just a few minutes from the port, you can already get a glimpse of the lovely sandy rivers that characterize the Balearic Islands. Not far from the marina, you will find Talamanca beach. This urban beach is one of the most popular in Ibiza. It is particularly popular with partygoers and foodies, who will find several interesting bars and restaurants there.

By opting for a short sea trip from the marina, you can easily reach the beaches that make Eivissa famous, including Playa d'en Painter, which sets the south-east of the island ablaze every summer. Cruise passengers heading for the south of the island will be delighted to drop anchor not far from splendid beaches such as Es Cavallet Las Salinas, Sa Caleta and Cala Jondal. Each one reveals a river of white sand caressed by a crystalline sea that invites you to indulge in the sweetness of idleness.
Those who love peace and quiet will appreciate Es Cavallet and Cala Jondal. They will enjoy a peaceful stroll in the shade of the pine trees. These two beaches are distinguished by their wild character, giving them an incomparable charm.
Explore the sandy shores of the island
to the west, east and north, there are also splendid strips of sand ideal for lazing around and water sports. to the west, Cala Salada reveals two beaches, including a very beautiful cove surrounded by a pine forest. This is located near the town of San Antonio. To the north of the island lies the romantic beach of Portinatx, while to the east, Cala Llonga is the unanimous favorite of yachtsmen.
