Last updated on 8 April 2025

Berth on the majestic island of Mallorca, in the open sea off Valencia, and discover its picturesque landscapes, its medieval towns and its fishing ports immersed in an almost eerily serene atmosphere. a few kilometers from Porto Colom, the town of Porto Cristo is sure to enchant you with its beautiful sandy beaches and unmissable natural sites. So why not take advantage of the yacht charter services in Porto Cristo and set off to explore the famous Caves of Drach, the pride and joy of the seaside resort. Famous since the Middle Ages, the Cuevas del Drach are home to Lake Martel, which vacationers will enjoy discovering by boat. Budding speleologists will also enjoy exploring the caves, which date from the Miocene period and are adorned with stalactites and stalagmites.

Porto Cristo is also a small fishing port with a huge bay and a fine sandy beach. Yachtsmen will enjoy their trip out to sea to the beach of Port de Manacor, much appreciated for its golden sand, while history lovers will enjoy strolling for a few hours in the city. For while Porto Cristo is famous for its exceptional natural landscape, it also fascinates with its historical remains, such as the Torre del Serral dels Falcons.

Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the city

Relaxation and fun are indeed the order of the day in Porto Cristo. Before setting sail for its charming beaches, treat yourself to a stroll through the town and discover its history. This former fishing village is home to a picturesque old town that invites you to dream. As you stroll along its narrow streets, you will be amazed by some of the historical remains, such as the church of Notre-Dame de Carmel, which was built from 1916 onwards. Take a stroll north of the port if you want to reach the old quarters of the town.

If you linger on the Cours de la Sirène, you will be able to admire a magnificent sculpture by Pere Pujol. It is also on this square that the village market is held every Sunday morning, where you can buy local produce. The port also offers visitors pleasant walks that lead to a magnificent lighthouse built in the mid-19th century. Continuing your little getaway to Servera Camps Avenue, you will reach the Serral dels Falcons tower. This landmark of Porto Cristo was built in 1577 on the edge of a cliff and offers a magnificent view of the bay and the nearest seaside resorts.

Sail to the neighboring towns

The view of the surrounding coastal towns from the watchtower will certainly make you want to visit them. What could be better, moreover, than to take advantage of the yacht charter in Porto Cristo to set off to discover the most beautiful seaside resorts along the east coast of Mallorca.

with the sailor in you, head south to Cales de Mallorca, Porto Colom or Cala d'Or. It's also an excellent excuse to take a dip in the turquoise waters not far from the magnificent sandy beaches.
